Ascendant 21°51' Aries
Ascendant or House I

The First House or Ascendant represents one's behaviour in the eyes of others, and also one's health. It corresponds to the way the individual acts in the world. It is the image of the personality seen by others and the person's visible behaviour expressed outwardly. The 1st House is in analogy with Aries and thus Mars too, and then the Sun. It is an angular house, the most important one with the Midheaven, maybe even more so due to its link with the body and health.

Interpretation of the 21° Aries symbolic degree

"A man, who just filled his jug at the fountain, walks so carelessly that the water spills on the ground. A bear bites a tree trunk."

Lazy, carefree and conceited character. One loses one's credibility and wealth owing to one's indecisiveness and wrong judgements. Furthermore, one nurtures ambitions which are out of proportion with one's intellectual and financial abilities. The bear indicates that one keeps other people responsible for one's failures instead of acknowledging that one's negligence and lack of skills are the real causes of repeated setbacks.

Ascendant in Aries

The Ascendant is one of the essential elements in the establishment of your native theme. It is the sign of the zodiac which rises to the East, at the exact time of your birth, and thus requires for its calculation that you know the precise hour of this event.

The Ascendant brings a lot of information on your personality; it is one of the keys which make possible to approach closely certain elements of yourself such as your physical appearance, your character as other people perceive it externally at first contact, your immediate behavior, informations about your health, your spontaneous reactions. It also corresponds to the external and apparent part of your personality, the one you want to show always at best, but also corresponds to your physical robustness on the duration that is to say your health.

Your Ascendant: 21°51' AriesAries
Aries

You express your vital energy in a very cut and dried way, you do not resist taking the driver’s seat and you may come across as arrogant. Charging ahead also implies hurting yourself and being suddenly overcome by doubt. As a result, your courage, your honesty, your enthusiasm and your straightforwardness may turn into aggressiveness, rebellion and vulnerability that no one ever suspected. Fortunately, the level of your energy is very high and your instinctive and pugnacious side will not leave you helpless for too long and will set you back on the often perilous road to conquest and glory.

With this Ascendant, you come across as courageous, enthusiastic, dynamic, quick, extroverted, direct, warm, impulsive, adventurous, bold, and competitive. But you may also be gullible, dominating, self-centered, impatient, foolish, thoughtless, childish, irascible, reckless, primary, with a foot in mouth disease.

Equinox - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Equinox 2011, 20, 23:21, 21, 17:16, 23, 09:04, 22, 05:30 ... Vernal equinox and autumnal equinox: these classical names are direct derivatives of Latin (ver = spring and ...

The word equinox means "equal night": the length of the daytime being equal to that of the night. This event only occurs twice a year, the vernal equinox marking the astrological beginning of spring and the autumnal equinox marking the ending of summer. Interestingly, the actual equal duration (equilux) need not occur on the official Equinox, which is more cultural and celebratory than scientific. The Autumn, or Fall Equinox marks the harvest celebrations in September, outlined later in this article. [See NOTE for Southern Hemisphere.]

The Spring Equinox The Equinoxes Vernal Equinox (March) | Autumnal Equinox(September)The first great Gate stood open wide. A voice came through that portal: "Hercules, my son, go forth. Pass through the Gate and enter on the Way. Perform thy labor and return to me, reporting on the deed." With shouts of triumph Hercules rushed forth, running between the pillars of the Gate with over-weening confidence and surety of power.

The Vernal Equinox

is the time when the Sun reaches the balancing point in its path through the tropical zodiac, when the length of the day is equal to the length of the night. It marks the beginning of the new astrological year, as the Sun enters the first degree of Aries, the Ram. Although the Equinox is formally celebrated on March 21, it happens in 2011 on March 20 (23:22 UT – but the Equinox is a day and a night, a phase not a moment). It is marked in the Christian Calendar by the Festival of the Annunciation of the Virgin (Lady Day) on March 25.

Aries is the sign of the exaltation of the Sun, for it marks the time when the days of light begin to outstrip the nights of darkness (for this reason the Ram is also the Fall of Saturn).
